Nice score!
I learnt the secret of finding parts. Just before finding these I had decided I was going to focus on paying off some bills and trying not to spend so much money on the car. And just like that, when I decide not to buy car parts, poof, car parts I want seem to appear lol.

Excellent work, I wish I could weld half as good as you, I really suck at welding.

Finally got the headers leaks fixed and back on the car.  One of the flanges mating surfaces was oversize so I welded it up and ground it down to size.  I also added a bung for the O2 sensor for the Sniper.  Had limited space for its placement so I made a template so I could mark the exact spot for it.

The mating surface was to high causing an exhaust leak.

Kind of hard to see but the gasket was deformed because of this allowing it to leak.

Welded up.

Template to get the proper angle forO2 sensor.  Only had about 2" clearance for it to fit.

Perfect fit.

After making new steel lines, replacing the in-tank fuel pump and revamping my headers I finally got around to finishing the install of the Holley Sniper yesterday.   Soooo - the great moment came to turn the key and start the car - Walla! - a lot of cranking but no start.  Spent the next couple of hours checking all my work and reviewing Holey video's and still no luck. It's not getting the prime shot.

Got up this morning and got in touch with Holley support on the phone.  Spoke to a service tech name Harley (really nice guy) who walked me through some trouble shooting trying to figure out what the problem was.  After about 20 minutes and no success he came to conclude that more than likely the unit has a bad ECU.  He emailed me a return UPS shipping label to send the unit back for repair.  He estimated about 2 weeks turn around for it.

So now I'll move on to installing my new sway bars.  I already have the front and the rear is suppose to be here on Wednesday.  I hope all goes well with those.

Yesterday, finally got out and met up with a local Mustang group,  "Old Mustangs Rule" (OMR). Great group of guys. Later in the day brought Moose to his first gathering,  "Nifty 50ees Classic Cruisers".  Had a great time.

Moving to a new home is always an experience… Have to make sure the mini fleet gets there safely)) Two of three have made the trip safely, I was even able to drive the yellow Coupe yesterday, the weather was excellent.  This time, I also have to disassemble the 4-post lift, transport and reassemble in the new garage. Never worked on one of these before… Today, I will transport the scissor lift to the new garage. It’s a bit of work in its self… heavy sucker. Last to go will be the J Code Vert, it only goes when everything is in place at the new garage, Trailer Queen…

Started doing more body work today, cut out a part of the passenger side quarter panel to put in a patch. Was able to start fitting the patch to the car, but there is still a ton of cutting to do, plus the welding, and fixing the outer wheelhouse. I suck at welding, so lets see how it comes out...

Yes sir, good eye. The new garage is 5 feet longer, 4 feet wider and 1 foot taller. Will be perfect for me moving forward. It was tight in the current place, but we knew we would not be staying. Bought a place on almost an acre And I will build an additional 2 car garage in the next couple years.

Last night I finally removed the last two snap wire splices left in my car from previous ownership. One was feeding the tach and the other was feeding continuous power to the radio. The last one was a bear to get to since it was behind the instrument panel tapped to the cigarette lighter wire. A bit of creativity and contortionism took care of it.

I finally got the traction bars installed. (For nostalgia purposes)
There was no way to shim them up to the 1/4-1/2" from the leaf eye, as they were a good 2"s away. So I pie-cut the bars and angled up the fronts, then welded.
