This Wednesday, the 18th, Wheeler Dealers on Velocity channel is working on a 73 Mach 1. Be interesting to see what work they do to it. Edd is gone having been replaced by a guy named Ant.

Long time Pontiac guy, jumped ship, now driving a '71 Grabber Green Mach 1 with "J" code 429 Cobra Jet, close-ratio 4 speed, 3.50 Traction-Lok rear.
Like many comments I have read online, Edd was the main reason a lot of car guys watched the show. The other guy, not so much... Yes he gets some incredible buys, but sometimes it seems like he is taking advantage of the sellers. Of course a fair amount of that part of the show is likely staged.

Probably going to be an Eleanore or Diamonds are Forever copy.

I watched the episode. I personally didn't like some of the changes they made. It was sold to someone who is taking it to the UK.

I miss Edd but Ant is doing a good job so far. IMHO.
I can guess where some of the '72 grille upgrades came from, a number of sources, but the lowering springs looked like a good fit...where do you think was the supplier for them, no reference in the credits, but I might want to do those on my '73. They made the grille change awfully easy looking, but I have read threads that the two grilles mount differently and the hood release lever is different in respect to the lever access in the upper grille...I'm a purist anyway and a '73 should look as a '73. fmjcraig

1973 Mustang Grande 351C 2V, built on the very last production day (July 6, 1973) for Grande's.
Today I saw the first episode where they worked on the Ford Escort Cosworth and I really liked the show. It felt like previous seasons to me, nothing like the soap operas like gas monkey or misfit garage.

Next week they’ll air the second episode, is that the one with the 73 Mach?

Agree on some of the changes though the PO of my 73 Mach 1 had it painted in 72 fashion. I actually prefer the 73 paint over the earlier ones. I enjoyed the show and thought the new guy did alright.

I will add pictures after some tweaking in the spring...unfortunately winter’s coming and when I lived in Florida it was car show every week, as well as two big gatherings in Daytona at the speedway, now back in Michigan ? , beautiful but bedtime for the Mustang.

Yeah, overall I think they did OK on the Mach, they paid homage to its name. Ant appears to know his stuff, like Edd. Power was decent per dyno results and it sounded good on the track. Even the wheels, while not perfect, worked to give a modded magnum 500 look. Way better than the Mach Foose wheels.....by a mile!

I liked that episode as well and so far I do not see too big a difference between Edd and Ant when it comes to explaining and doing things.

Still my favourite car show :)
