Hello All,

I recently completed my restoration and I did remove wiper motor.

Any hints to wiper my wiper stops where ever they are when you turn switch off? Also, the do not retract below the cowl when running, is this correct? I have not used them in years so I don't recall if this is the norm.

Thank you very much in advance for your help. Have a great day.

Hey Manny do you need to check mine out? I'm home or I can drive over.

It sounds like the "parking switch", under the oblong cover, is fouled from 40+ year old grease or it is broken. Mine did the same thing. I cleaned it, lubed it, and it works fine. Let us know what you find. Chuck

+1

It also needs unswitched (continuous) 12 volts to park it.
