I was a little bummed to see the Firebird (with the Tru-Fire) hood, because it's not the original that Mike Levallee conceived and painted. I noticed because of the 'dead eye' stare from the bird, and the fire didn't seem quite right. Just seemed a little cheap to me, and kind of ripping off someone else's idea then poorly executing it. http://1st-carreviews.blogspot.com/2010/11/2010-firehawk-trans-am-tribute-from.html
It caught my eye because I've done some Tru-Fire in the past (nowhere near as well as Mike does it) and I'm familiar with his style.
I always wonder how many of them are ever driven. I hate to think of cars/hot rods/race cars as museum pieces. If they had a soul, what would they think being stuck on a pedestal with a mirror under their butts? lol
1972 Mach 1 R code. I ordered the car new when I was 19 years old.
