WTB 429 Fan Shroud

Finally getting around to getting serious about selling my Mach 1. The engine has torqued the fan blade into the fan shroud and beat it up some so I'm looking for a replacement. I ordered one but it was immediately refunded when they found out they didn't have any. Anyone know of a source?

Try Crites Restoration, that's what I used in my 460 equipped 73.

A NOS 429 shroud...Defiantly a rare part. (Ask Pastel Blue) Since you say your preparing your car to sell, I'm sure NOS is not a concern. This is a Torino sourced part so it might be easier to find through some Torino venders. Don't know who you've tried so my suggestions may be someone you've already called.

The part you are looking for is DOOZ-8146-D (ID# DOOE-D) Was used on 70-71 429 Torino and 71 429 Mustang. You might even luck up and contact one of our Mustang venders and find something. Good Luck on your search!!

And don't be surprised if they sell you a refurbished/repaired part for astronomical money.

I bought an expensive dealer showroom display and they shipped and then decided to tell me it was damaged. Said they would adjust $75 and send to my paypal. I never EVER saw it and my emails and phone calls were not answered. I will Never buy anything else from them.
