POSTED IN WRONG SECTION. MODERATORS, PLEASE MOVE. I could not delete this thread, so sorry!

Just like the title says....71 Boss 351 rev limiter, any condition. My car is in fair shape, so I would actually prefer a used one. Thanks!

You could some of GT Falcon restoration places here in Australia also as the same 6150 RPM limiter was fitted to the GT-HO's, so that may help refine your search too by putting in GT-HO limiter or so forth. A NOS piece came up for sale a while ago, but they wanted good money for it. Anyway good luck with the search.

Interesting. Thanks for the tip 4V.

The repro ones aren't too bad. But an original in any condition will cost ya.

I've been looking for years - along with some nice 15 inch trim rings!

Should have met earlier, sold a very very nice set of 15" trim rings and caps when I sold my 71 Mach 429 back in 2010... I was trying to buy the correct wheels at the time, which are also difficult to find.

Thankfully, my current 429 vert project came with 14" wheels or I would be banging head against wall time... However, I did sell an original exhaust manifold heat shroud for these cars and of course my project needs one... Live and learn...

Hey man, Took your advice. I bought a repro from Australia for $71 US, and a friend of mine is bringing it to me in January, since the seller would not ship to USA. Not exactly what I wanted, but I think I can age it appropriately. ::thumb::

Excellent glad it worked out for you, the exchange rate really works well for you guys in the US, but for those of us in Australia it really is painful buying stuff for our cars at the moment, let alone shipping prices these days. If the worst were to happen I would've only been too happy to help get it over to you. I don't what's up with vendors not wanting to ship overseas, it's not like the costs are coming out of their own pockets, had the same problem with a vendor in the US recently on a part for my XA project, so I'll have to try and find one here.

We have got to meet. I was in Australia for a couple weeks in mid September and you could have it already!

Totally got to meet. Wish I knew about this earlier! I was in Australia for 3 weeks in Feb/March of 2014. I am always around. Love to have you to the garage to compare notes. Let me know what your schedule is like. You house or mine. I'm good either way. Cheers!
