I restore myself other than painting a 1967 Mustang Convertible. This car was the usual rusting. I cut and threw away the torque boxes, frame rails, channels, supports etc. and body panels. I can say that the hood, door on drivers and front fenders are original. The rest were welded, bolted etc. The engine was non original 302 frozen rock. I found a 1968 289 (Windsor) yes a Windsor from Fords attempt to do have JIT inventory only to have the folks develop it for a short time and then realize they had a warehouse full of 289 engines. The heads list 289 and Windsor (hopefully spelling the pre 351 name correct). The car runs great and shows well. I did add the Shelby trunk lid and side scoops for fun. I kept the interior and console etc. I changed the sad green colors to black and painted blue of course.
