Okay, thanks a lot, I think I have figured it out.

My shifter stick is different which I know is replaceable im just saying but also the linkages are the threaded type at the end they just have a long hole section where you tighten a bolt on the correct alignment and the bottom of the shift arms come out a lot further than in your pictures.

I just rebuilt my shifter (4 speed hurst) and i am fairly confident from what I could find on the internet that it is not the original on that came in the car mostly because the shift arms are not the same as what I can see from pictures, I was wondering if anyone could help me i dentify it so...
