I found the disconnect wire on the ac circuit. It was right above the fuse box junction. A real fun place to try and work one handed. It’s funny how good the ac works when all the wires are hooked up.

Does anyone have a 73 ac wire harness that is not installed yet? I’m having an issue with ac clutch wire. I don’t remember if there is a connection between the firewall and the Deicing switch. Is the c-1006 connection under the dash somewhere? It’s a black wire wire With yellow hash marks I...
John do you have a pic of what that steering wheel looks like from the underside between the column and the wheel?
Mine is missing some type of trim on the backside I think.

Alright got the steering wheel dissected and this is what was under all the duct tape. It’s round stock 3/8”. Could the phenolic have been removed if there was any on there from the factory ?
Does anyone have a two spoke steering wheel they might be interested in selling?

Has anyone redone the leather wrap on this wheel? What did you find behind the old leather? Mine had duct tape under the old leather. I don’t know if it was the original wrap or not. What was under yours?

I am replacing the ignition switch on my 73 with a tilt column. I’m trying to insert the new switch and the pin is retracted with the pin retracted the triangle part on the ignition is 180 out from the piece in the column. Am I doing something wrong?

Does anyone have the breakdown showing how the power steering is mounted on a 73 Mach 1 with AC? I have 3 studs that go on the ac bracket but I’m not sure if that’s what holds the power steering also. Any help or pictures would be awesome. Thanks Dennis

Hemi where does that steel line route to? It looks like it’s bent to mount over the transmission but when it gets to the inner fender it don’t come out in a logical position to hook up to the canister.

Thanks Carolina. Looks like your black canister just has a vacuum line on it connected at the firewall.
The lines I’m talking about is the ones in this pic right under the3/8 vacuum line in the pic. It’s got the 90 degree coming up from the transmission
