It appears to be a January '73 build. Attached are some specs. Also, dad purchased this car in Iowa, and has lived in an Iowa garage all it's life ;)
Here is a pic of the EGR side, with the H-shaped hose connector for the temp sensor (the hot and cold side of the heater hose to the cabin go through it). Thankfully this connector still seems to work, as I cannot find a replacement. Its pretty badly corroded. Does this part have a name?
