    Who has the oldest tires?

Old tires usually have tell tale signs. Cracking in the side walls near the rim, cracking between the tire tred, but these have none of that. I had to look for the date codes just to be sure of how old they really were. I was very surprised to find out the are three decades old or more. I am...

    Who has the oldest tires?

I have not seen tires that look so good and are so old as the ones on this 1971 Grande I recently purchased. They are only 2 digit DOT date coded tires. I had to look it up. 71 302 vacuum advance, 2 port, what does it do?

My 2 port vacuum advance can does not hold vacuum in either port. 2 port replacements are available, but I only see single port replacement complete distributors. Is there any reason to keep the 2 port other than being factory correct?

It is going to be fun

We bought an original 40,000 mile Mustang Grande. 302 auto car, factory AC that still works. California car, clean body and under carriage. 1 repaint that is showing it's age. The interior is in need of some updating. Doing all the regular preventative maintenance right now. Cleaning and more...
