    What is this?

This was bolted to the intake manifold and 12V positive was routed via this to the electric choke by the previous owner. I guess it should read the temp and play with the choke? An interesting piece. Does anyone have any specs on this thing? What it does do exactly and is it useful to keep using?

The correct bracket for throttle and kick down cables to Holley 0-80458SA?

Finished it up last night, but not test-driven yet.

The correct bracket for throttle and kick down cables to Holley 0-80458SA?

Pretty good reading, thank you! Many good points to learn. However, my concern is a bit different. I can make the bracket that would work as it would with any other carb. If the bottom hole will give the amplitude needed (will it?) the AOD should work. There cannot be any other issue than...

The correct bracket for throttle and kick down cables to Holley 0-80458SA?

Gentlemen, I have the carb, and figured out the brackets. However, the manual says: This carburetor is not designed for use with any Ford automatic overdrive transmission. SEVERE transmission damage may result from improper application use. Well, I do have AOD installed. Why do they prohibit...

    Need to identify

Thank you! Smarter again. I just leave them hanging for the historic purposes; all needed seems to be covered. Building a relay block now and it should all come out good with better headlights and electric radiator vents.

    Need to identify

Thanks Midlife! However, can you educate me a bit more? 1. Engine gauge - where it supposed to connect and show what and where? 2. Emissions control - how this works and where was it connected? 3. PRNDL (PRND12 in my case) lamp - the illumination of it? I got it wired straight with dash bulbs...

Perhaps someone has a clue? I have no place to plug them but I rahther leave them hanging (hopefully one is...

    convertible interior recommendation needed

Hi Austin, I also have a concertible with ginger/saddle interior that is partly a bit worn out. I would give a try with the new paints but can someone give the right color codes (PPG for instance) for the metal and plastic parts? They seem a bit different. Regards, Renxus

    Electric Fan Pictures

Thanks Tony, but I got the controller part under control. I need the fans with the shroud. If I order the exact aftermarket piece from the States it will get crazy expensive with the transport and taxes. I need an alternative of a common car with similar parameters so I can get it here.

    Electric Fan Pictures

Thanks for advice, but I decided to go with dual fan for two speed (Lincoln's seems to be one fan system). I live in a bit more chill climate so half speed of fans will do good most of the time. So any hints for suitable dual fan module?

    Electric Fan Pictures

A question: Instead of buying a dedicated aftermarket fan(s) module, surely there are alternatives with better price from used other cars. All it needs is to be in good order and fit to you radiator. My radiator: So I need a shroud with two fans to cover 26 x 16 1/2 inch area with at least an...

Hi folks. I did some theory and it just might work. Would like to test it out soon but take a look - what you think?
