    Carpet recommendation

No, you don't want that blue, it's way too light/bright. This whole thread has stirred up a bit of a hornet's nest, in that I've discovered that we don't have the #16 and #7 blues available in ALL potential years/variations (which is a lot..). So unfortunately, you're NOT going to be able to...

    Carpet recommendation

After posting the last photos, I have to reiterate, just look how the Raylon samples (not the colors, but the tufting/twisting/orientation/height) matches that 500-mile original Ford carpet. If I got my ACC Nylon Loop sample ring out and photo'd it like that, you'd cringe.

    Carpet recommendation

I think that regardless of what I would say, the jury has been in on that debate for a long time. Most customers greatly prefer the mass-backing. There's really no "negative" to it other than the extra cost. But it indeed makes the carpet lay better, less fighting with wrinkles and baggy spots...

Tell that to my wife, she's not convinced... ;) LOL... (Thanks)

    Carpet recommendation

I cannot tell a lie, this carpet thing is just one example (of many) that infuriates me with so many giant online sellers who have decided to nudge themselves into this industry... They're not interested in best-quality, and/or knowledgeable of it. Nope, they're just interested in "selling you...

ACC is the only game in town. And ACC "Raylon Loop" is by far the most-correct and most-original-appearing material. Raylon Loop, with the mass backing, is the way to go IMHO.. But I'll warn you about the "discount" ACC sellers online, because when it comes to ordering Raylon carpet, it's...

    Reverse Trike 68 Camero

Wow... Not only did the guy butcher a Camaro, he even managed to butcher the spelling of Camaro!! LOL..

    Reproduction sheet metal

With respect to most 71-73 major sheet metal panels, it's all "relatively newer" tooling (compared to 65-70), there's only one factory/tooling in Taiwan for it, and the quality is pretty tried and true. They did a pretty good job when they tooled-up for the 71-73 fenders, hoods, doors and...

Almost ready for re-upholstery, but I have some questions

Whatever you do, do not chintz on the seat foam. You'll regret using anything but US-made American Cushion Industries (ACI) foam. Not only is it noticeably superior just feeling/pressing it, and best-fitting, it also keeps its memory for the long-term. The cheaper foams on the market, even the...

    Repro Outside Door Handles

Neither Scott Drake nor Dynacorn are manufacturers. There is only ONE set of tooling and manufacturer doing the 71-73 outer door handles. This is one of those cases where only one manufacturer has tooled-up, and everyone imports the same product through different consolidators/suppliers in...

Hey guys new to this, but what cover fits it the best and is rain proof.

As plenty others have already forewarned, your desire for a "waterproof" cover for outdoors use during rainy conditions is flat-out suicidal to your car. Any cover that is totally waterproof will not breath. So it becomes a water "trap". Even on concrete, when the rain ends the wet concrete...

    Freight Delivery Protocol

If the shipment contains just one item, and it's damaged beyond what you'd feel is reasonable and prudent to just "deal with", note the damage on the B/L and refuse the shipment. If the shipment contains multiple items, and some items are fine, but others damaged, some drivers will allow you to...

    Freight Delivery Protocol

If you read the fine-print on any Bill of Lading, underneath the line where you're signing, you will discover that you are basically signing your life away... i.e. you are stating that you received the goods in acceptable condition, and you are absolving the trucking company of any further...

Ebay ads stating cJ or Cobra Jet 351 in a 1973

I'd like to chime in with my own 2-cents and a bit of interesting "evidence"... I do not have any issue with calling the 1973 Q-code a Cobra Jet or CJ. Sometimes the hobby is guilty of trying to be way too "absolutist" about things, without realizing that the Big-3 were ENORMOUS operations...

Kentucky Mustang is a great company to deal with.

I'm afraid that we're content with four locations, and I don't know if my blood pressure could handle another.. LOL
