Hello from the Palm Springs area! We put a 4r70w in our '67 F100 with only minor issues. I like that one because it's the best of the AOD line and doesn't have the cable. The fan belt trick will work just fine. If you have difficulty pulling hard enough, get a friend to help pull on the belt.- robnlean
