Another distinction between the 71-72's is the position of the latch to flip the fronts seats forward to allow people to get into the back seat. The 71's are in the center. 72-73 are on the side, closer to the doors. This may coinside with the warning light above glovebox.............

I just blew the fusible link on my 71 mach by dropping a small bolt into the alternator.   Fell in just perfectly.  Unbelievable.  The question is: what gauge of link should I replace it with?   There are several "gauges" out there.   Just looking for what others have done/had success with.  I'm...
