I first entered the vintage mustang scene 21 years ago at age 16, I remember.

3F03H is your vin. 3=1973, F= made in Dearborn, 03 = convertible, H=351C 2v. 228429 is the production number. The rest I don't know all but I am pretty sure: 76D means convertible 01E is probably a date code 902 is a production rotation/batch number 6F is a paint code, looks like Gold Glow...

Mostly these lights, same ones ssiegel4 is looking for. Also pictured headlight bucket pieces. If you have a deluxe grill, that's also on my list.

I'm interested in the front grill lights and headlight buckets if they're still available.

It took this picture for me to realize I have some kind of custom door panels and not standards. I knew the seats were redone and interior panels show the original avocado underneath but I just assumed the door panels were replaced with repops at some point, I knew they weren't deluxe style but...

Congrats on the newborn! Mine's 7, when I picked up my 73 coupe a few months ago she named it "Daddy's scary car". I grew up around my own dad's first car, a '65 fastback (that never ran the 18 years i was around it, until he sold it) and then graduated to a '70 fastback he picked up and passed...

It was around 3F the other day when I took those pics. Warmed up to 17F in the attached photos here. You can see the curvature has lessened, they've gone from pointing forwards to only flared out perpendicular.

The colder it gets, the farther my bumper ends curl forward! A 71/72 bumper conversion is likely in the car's future.

Some great ideas all, thank you. I'll try to dig into exhaust leakage, fuel pump, and valve train. I replaced spark plugs and wires already and the sound didn't change a bit. This vid was post-plug change actually.
