^that's a great idea! Only thing I might would check on is cutting out the carpet or firewall pad where your bring it through and making sure you have enough harness to meet the dash harness.I would not want to extend every wire to the main harness plug.

^no problem. Thanks guys. Its a pretty straightforward project, I really don't think ill have to lengthen more than 1 or 2 wires maybe not any.its def gonna look 100% better than the huge harness running directly over the driver side shock tower

    Engine Bay Wire Tuck

Good idea on the shield and that was my plan for a grommet after its painted. Hopefully the car will never be in the rain unless I get caught in it

FINALLY got the engine bay in primer this weekend. Dang what a job, I shaved a few holes in the bay and mounted some studs on the backside of the aprons for things like the horns, Starter solenoid, etc. Ill be tucking the harness and relocating the battery to the trunk.

quarter extensions and license plate light

Mach71351c I checked my old tailight panel a bit ago on my 71 and the factory panel has these same holes along the bottom of it.is it possible the tailight harness had some clips that went in there to hold it to the panel?

quarter extensions and license plate light

Thanks so much guys. Ill take care of the holes. Glad u caught it before paint. Why would they put a hole in the bottom of the extensions if nothing goes there?

    mounting to the Rotisserie

Thanks. Ill check into that on the front. Does it not try to bend the tailight panel in the rear by mounting it that way?I can't picture that supporting the whole weight of the back half of the car since it only uses the brackets that weld to the trunk floor, maybe im wrong
