    72 Q code Mach 1

Nice car. Patina and original cars are always more interesting to me. Hope you post a Marti report eventually as it has some desirable options.

Living in SC now and enjoying my retirement

It's a matter being respectful and keeping this site free from religion and politics. I don't think anyone is crying over it. I personally expect better from our fellow Mustangers.

Living in SC now and enjoying my retirement

As long as you don't bring your politics and religion, I won't bring my religion and politics. I do my best to keep mine out, but when others don't it opens the door to a response which I do my best to stay neutral. I care more about this site being cohesive for everyone. Isn't this site being...

Best to keep your God out of this site too. By loving America is that all of north, central and south or do you mean The United States. I love the United States, but not when I have to think too much about all the political etc. garbage that shows how broken our country is. Politics and religion...

Living in SC now and enjoying my retirement

When people get political here it is usually only one side doing it. It is usually ironic. I don't come here for political views. It always makes the poster and this site look bad. Let's keep out biases out as it says more about you then what you are relaying. Politics are poison when we are a...

    New 2024 Mustang

I don't care for it yet. Maybe in 20 years as I like older cars. I do like how the taillights are a modern take on the 67-68 taillights though

Places For Engine Re-Build Suggestions [HELP]

Congratulations on your find. We will be waiting on pictures and Marti report no matter how long it takes. There are plenty in the bay area. I can't find the ones I have used. You might question BAMA Bay area Mustang association. Dave at Mustang City in Belmont might be helpful also. Good luck

Not a video, but a story on 71 Mustangs

I always love to see 71's in the color combo of mine. The comments were as expected and the ones calling it ugly probably drive a newer lookalike every four-door car made now. When people call them ugly, I find their taste ugly and like the fact that that mentality has kept our cars more...

    1972 Mach 1 at Mecum.

I love this car. I have a thing for green and white. Not a fan of green interior. I would like it better without the argent hood also.

New to me 1972 Mustang convertible

I like how your car looks untouched. Hope you keep it that way except the AM radio can be left off, but kept

    71 Hood black out

You asked and I think it looks too narrow and the front part on the sides look wrong how it transitions to being wider. I'm pickier than most on this. Compare pictures of original ones to yours. If you aren't doing the exact paint formula or a factory original type restoration it may be close enough

Photos of my 73 Mach 1

I'm saying your dad wanted single stage original formula then to match the level of restoration he is requiring you to do.

Photos of my 73 Mach 1

Looks like you are doing a good job. Are you going to use the original paint formula. I did a two stage decades ago and the car looked great. I considered it a huge mistake for me though as it was too shiny, and I believe the clear coat will fail sooner than an original single stage formula. I'm...

    convertible interior question

I've always wondered also as I've seen far too many no matter what the literature says. I think many times the standard seat pattern is easier to come by for replacement, but it doesn't explain when you see other standard parts

1973 Mach 1 back from MOM, Mustang Owner's Museum

If you think people hate the last president because of a few mean tweets and can't see what good he did past that is because you can't see all the bad he did and there is nothing I can say to change that as it couldn't be more obvious. Was obvious in 2016 before all the tweets. Some people have...

1973 Grille Pony emblem vs. corral

I think anything might be possible. Have you seen the Marti Report or the window sticker? Front end accident maybe as little as just needing a grill replacement? I've seen 69 Mustangs with mixed or big block shock towers on small block cars from factory. I think it might have the part easily...

Would you buy a 71-73 again?

If I were younger and had the time and money for them, I wouldn't be able to stop myself from buying every absolutely loaded one in a preferred color combo in any condition.

    manual steering

One thing I don't like about having power steering is when you have a rim blow steering wheel. Much more honking will likely happen.
