    Rim blow restoration advise request

To get the emblem in, I used a heat gun, but you have to be careful and keep moving the gun. It’s a tight fit. For the chrome strip I used 3M aluminum foil tape, it’s a good product, sticks well and still looks good after years of use.

Aluminum trim restoration / anodizing services?

I removed the origin coating with oven cleaner, tapped out any dents and began sanding and polishing. Very time consuming but well worth the effort. I did not anodize the aluminum but clean it and wax it. It has kept well for many years

    1973 Mach 1 H-code Question

A good intake and 4 barrel carb should do well for that car. In 73 the timing was retarded 4degrees, if you add a new timing gear set and set it to 0 it tends to wake up the Cleveland , sure helped my Q code

    Avocado interior

Due to the rarity of avocado interior parts Any pieces That you do purchase will probably not match anyways due to wear and fading. when I redid my deluxe avocado interior, I purchased a new set of white deluxe door panels, used black dash pad, replacement hinge covers. Parts Wanted Map light

I built my own as well using the plastic cover plate and a piece of white plastic lampshade that I had kicking around. I located the switch in an old parts bin at a store that repairs old electronics. Guy gave it to me, then I hooked up a battery operated light. The light can easily be removed...

    Ram Air parts list?

As stated earlier the carb sits to high, so I had a thinner billet plate machined to replace the EGR plate cover the channel in the intake nicely and lower the carb, I could then use my K&N filter.

    Carb Replacement

When I installed the ram air the the air cleaner was to high so I had a billet plate made to replace my egr plate for my 4300D. This has worked well for years and although the 4300D was difficult to tune, once dialed in it has worked well for me. Maybe a plate could be made to accommodate a...

    Totally STUMPED!

Think your on the right path with a wire issue, just went through this issue myself and found it was a sketchy ground cable at the battery that caused the same types of issues. 351C with Pertronix Ignitor I, Accel Super Stock 8140 coil.

73 Aluminum Wheel Center Caps - NOS vs Reproduction

As you mentioned the OEM ones are 5 screws with the horse tail within the boarder. Many people at car shows will not distinguish between 5 and 3 screw type centres (many people don’t know that aluminum rims were the only mag optioned in 73) so it all depends on where you show the car and your...

    Fold down back seat

put a fold down seat in this Mustang several years ago, takes a bit of work but the biggest thing is getting all the correct parts needed. As far as the car your looking at, I’d stay away as to many things can and will be hidden with a fancy paint job and bondo. I‘m fully restoring a 68 Mustang...
