1 or 2 piece fuel pump eccentric for 1972 302?

The eccentric should be an inner part that looks like a cup and an outer part that is like a ring around the cup.

    Meet the donor car

I've heard that in 1999 the horsepower of the 4.6 jumped from 260 to 290 because of an improved head design. If it was 99 and not 98 then you might want to consider a head swap while doing the engine swap.

I found this ad http://roseburg.craigslist.org/cto/3706839676.html sounds like a great deal but I need to see them in person to be sure.

Great now what? Engine won't stay running.

Have you checked the valve stem seals? Mine smoked till I changed them. Changed is a strong word. The old ones had disintegrated, so installed would be a better term.

    Transmission leak

A while back I replaced the tranny line because there was a hole in one of them. When I did it i use stainless steel lines from NPD. air cleaner anyone?

Believe it or not but a k&n filter actually adds horsepower because it doesn't restrict airflow and straightens out the air so there is less turbulence.

I guess I'm not a Vegas Fastback anymore

Doc, I have a cousin in winnemucca if we ever roadtrip the mustang down there I might hit you up. Sorry we went through California, took the 15 to the 99 to the 5. It's longer but we were afraid of hitting snow in the passes in northern NV.

I guess I'm not a Vegas Fastback anymore

I was trying to sell my mustang a while back to make this move. Luckily I had no takers. I'm now a whopping 1000 miles from where I started. I'm in Glide, Or. The mustang traveled the whole way on the back of a Uhaul. So now the real question is are any of you close to me?

    EVACUATING AC SYSTEM

You might be able to get away with using CO2 but its is common practice to use nitrogen because it doesn't react to anything. Also Ii forgot to mention. Be careful when you evacuate the system, there is a $10,000 for releasing the refrigerant into the atmosphere.
