what owning a Mustang says about you

Well that was dumb. It says you conserative if you buy a mustang, but then accuses you of supporting a democrate because you bought a ford. So which is it?

    Inside Micrometer

First of all I believe your way overthinking this. That being said if you were trying to blueprint this engine to the tick temperature would play a role because different metals expand at different rates. So if you were building a race engine you would need a controlled environment with a...

Can a Durspark Distributor/Module do this....

If I caught this thread soon enough I would confirmed this from my experences running fire alarm in buildings. Certain devices ues diodes to prevent contactors from transforming the voltage and arcing thenselves to death when the voltage stops. It basically backfeeds the transformer so that if...

    "Original Miles"....

I'm mostly sure my 77,000 are accurate most of the damage to my car is heat rot and not car bashing. My engine has been rebuild once in 1990 and is original to car, but even knowing that is is likely to be true I'm still a skeptic.

    New Cleveland blocks available

It wouldn't even let me try to join. Apparently there is some sort of blanket IP blocker intended to stop spammers and mine is within its parameters. The only way I can change it is to contact the admin

    351w wants to die

Sounds like spark to me. I've had 2 vehicles where the wire has popped off the alternator and they exibited that exact problem. As the voltage drops on the dying battery the max MPH you can reach gets lower and lower.

    Carburator question

My carter does the same thing, espically in summer. What I think happens is the vents in the top of the carb allow the gas to evaporate out of the bowls after a few days so when you goto start it again they have to refill before fuel can go through the carbs idle circuit. I usually only have to...

Tired of the sucky, biased Mustang books

I have found that the more dated books are likely to give our car a fair shake. The best book I've found so far is simply titled Mustang! and was published in 1979. It includes all the clay models for the early mustangs including ours.

I don't know about penn. But in nevada a death certificate and the next of kin should be capable of filing a lost title form which when accompined with a bill of sale will transfer ownership.

    Carb Choke Heater Tube

From expirence with other ford heat tubes, not yours specifically, you should be able to just leave it. In fact, if you find where it attaches it should just pull out, unless its rusted in. It doesn't actually tie in to anything important it's just touching the manifold so the air in the tube...
