I believe Trac-Loc and Posi are the same the latter being GM version of our limited slip. If you have a Trac Loc, you need to change the ring and pinion, and inspect the bearings, and get a new crush collar. I assume you have a 9" rear end and the pumpkin bolts to the axle housing and not a bolt...

I have some 460 heads you can have for the cost of shipping. They are d3ve. I have some other extra parts also-all stock from a 1985 (i think) non efi 460. Mine is at my builder-he is taking his time but the motor will be bada$$ when its done.

Totally agree, bigger diameter tubing would look a lot better, especially considering the meat under the hood!

I kinda like this view...It is awesome to come out of a store , pull up at a light, or be getting gas...and have people looking and want to talk about my car and the 71-73's in general. That doesn't happen often with the earlier models, especially the 65-66.

Beautiful Mercury...love the engine compartment. Really sets off the motor.
