I didn't think anybody would call a rear window a backlite. I never made the connection.
Do you know where the backlite relay is located? Maybe above the glove compartment?
I was looking at the electrical drawings in the data section showing a backlite heater. Where is the switch and dashlite located? What do they do? There doesn't seem to be many parts for this anywhere.
I bought the JBA1650s headers for my 5.0 with GT40 heads. They bolt on perfect. They fit perfect. They look perfect. All you have to do is remove the zbar. The header flange hits the bar right in the middle. I am trying to get a measurement on the hipo manifold port size to see if that...
I used the anti-diesel solenoid wire for my choke. Sometimes called the throttle solenoid. It is the red wire with yellow hash. It is already next to the carb. You probably don't use the solenoid anyway with the new carb.
So I installed a new Ford 5.0L engine with gt40 heads in my 71. The old 302 2 barrel exhaust manifolds have smaller exhaust holes than the heads. Do I need to buy 302 4 barrel or hi po exhaust manifolds?
Is there any way to see the inside of the charcoal canister? I wonder how well the charcoal works after all these years. Maybe someone has ripped one open and can post a picture.
cheers
I really enjoyed the car show pictures. I didn't know there was so much interest over in OZ.
I was wondering about the steering wheel on the right side. Does that mean you use the left foot for the gas?
How much does it cost for a gallon of gas?
Looking for a key warning buzzer for a 71 Mustang. Located above the glove compartment. Part number D1AB-10B924-AA. 3 prong plug although only 2 prongs are used. Wires to it are colored red with pink stripe and black with pink hash.

The power to fuse 3 is from the light switch dimmer. Is the light switch plugged in? The power to the light switch is from the black fuse link wire on the starter solenoid. Do the headlamps work ok? Then there is the breaker inside the headlamp switch just for the instrument lamps.
