What did you do today instead of working on your Mustang?

Just started today, so not sure yet. But yesterday was a very cold power wash the undercarriage day, and get some painting done. Can't have "pastel" yellow traction bars on a screaming yellow vert!, oh hell no!

    Springs or coil overs?

@Galucha I am looking into coilovers, just looking for feedback on anyone that done the conversion, and the ride quality.

    Springs or coil overs?

@Idaho Chris Looking a lot better than the stock stance!

    Springs or coil overs?

@jpaz hey, that's cool. I'm just the opposite, nose down like drag racers. (or at least an even stance)

    Springs or coil overs?

Old subject I would assume. While I have the front end apart on my 72 vert to replace the steering system, I might as well get the "snoot high" stance remedied. What have you guys found to be the best way to level the car and not reduce the ride comfort? Thanks!

Video of the "mess", steering linkage 72 vert.

I also found, just looking the discs looked way too thin, and they were under minimums, so they are on order with new wheel bearings and seals.

Will the real idler arm please step forward...

I found out today most all of my steering system is totally shot on my 72 vert. The problem is trying to find the correct idler arm. When I googled it, it actually brought me here, back in time to 2016. The end conclusion was the manual and power steering idlers arms are the same. (I have power...

    My walk around 1972 Vert

@mjseakan Mostly I had asked a lot of questions and the salesman was not forthcoming with true answers. I find out today, pretty much the whole steering system and a arms are shot. Which I verified myself also. It is actually dangerous. When the salesman said it drove great.

    Price is Right 50th Anniversary

@Kilgon Thanks for the welcome!  As it is, I am not looking to do anything other than fixing the problems and getting her road worthy. She is pretty much close to what I would have done, The screaming yellow, hockey stick decals, and ram air. That's what caught my eye, great shape and a great...

@Mac Sorry I took it the wrong way, you never know on the internet. The trolls are usually the first ones to come out from under their rocks to trash talk. now I get you were writing about the show. I also like the grabber colors, the green is great. (I'm a Kawasaki guy, so...lol) Wow, I bet...

    Price is Right 50th Anniversary

@Hemikiller that would be my guess. The winners have to pay the income tax before they can receive their prizes. So she had a big bill to pay that off in California on 28 grand. So she probably sold it to pay the taxes/title and registration. Well, that would be my guess. Seems that is done often...

    Price is Right 50th Anniversary

Most stop by and talk, even the UPS and Fed Ex guys. They ask if I fix the Mustangs to sell, and I say no. I Build them for me, then want something different and lose my *** selling them off...

    Price is Right 50th Anniversary

Thanks again guys! @Mister 4x4 it's like most forums, 99% of the guys are cool and always willing to help, and of course there are the disagreements between the Anoraks (IE purists) and us guys that have to have something different! Normal things for sure. And I'm liking her a lot, just want to...
