    Convertible Interior Quarters Trim

Good day all. I have replacement interior quarter panels on their way, looking for the trim that attaches under the panel towards the door. Here’s a picture of what I have now. Perhaps my Internet searches have been with an incorrect description….trying to find a source. Thank Rick

    Circuit 19 - Dash Lights

Hmmm…. Better check my schematic again, may have mis spoke…thanks Midlife.

    Circuit 19 - Dash Lights

Could be the headlight switch. My issue was some oxidation on one end of the fuse. Took it out, cleaned it and all was good. Ended up putting a new one in just to be sure. On a 73 there is a purple/white wire that provides 12 volt to the cluster. Also, there’s a ground lead from the lighter...

    My first Mustang 73.

Welcome from Ontario Canada! Looking forward to seeing your restoration progress. Regarding the draining of the fuel tank, you can force fuel out of the tank using compressed air. Insert your air blow gun in the filler neck, seal it with a rag. The air entering the tank will force fuel out.

    Circuit 19 - Dash Lights

Appears the panel for our '73 is different than the '71. Shows the F5 circuit is the instrument panel fuse.

    Circuit 19 - Dash Lights

Found the issue, I pulled the fuse from F5, found it was oxidized on the end furthest from the firewall. Changed it out all is good. Thanks so much Don and Ken, your questions got me to take another look at the fuse.

    Circuit 19 - Dash Lights

I have no power to Circuit 19, Dash lights. Fuse is good, there's power through the headlight switch. It was working fine yesterday. All other dash stuff is fine, radio, wipers, lighter etc. So, what have I done? I replaced the headlight switch, and lighter. I put new bulbs in all of the...

    Circuit Identification

Thanks guys...your combined follow up has been very helpful. The car doesn't have A/C so the pair of Light Green/Purple Hash wires are redundant. No such EGR Control Module either. The circuit panel on this car also has the 6 connector/4 pin connector for the Convenience Group seat back...

    Circuit Identification

Good day all. Looking for some help please with identifying either the circuit ID or purpose for these two wires. The first one is a 3 wire, right behind the speedometer. The second picture is a pair of LT Green with a LT Gray hash, just past the radio. The car was not equipped with the...

    Cold Air Duct Routing

Good day all. I'm looking for the proper routing of the Cold Air Intake Duct from the air cleaner snorkel to the rad frame on a '73 with a 302. I can't see how the open end would face the front of the car. I have the drawing below. Looks to me like it runs under the battery towards the rad...

    Air Filter Cover

Good day all. Our '73 Mustang has a 302 2V. I've been trying to find an air filter, not having much luck. Here's what's in the car now. The filter cover base measures 14.5" wide, lid measures 14.875" wide. The filter that's in it now (when I acquired the car) is a FRAM CA381 (11.25" O.D. x...

    Restoration Progress

Getting the mechanical stuff taken care of before moving on to shiny stuff. Here is a pic of how the car looked under the hood when we bought last summer. Second pic is the progress. So many issues, paper towel to hold the grille in place, MAR connectors, open vaccuum lines, spongy fuel...
