    ’71 Mach 1 Resto Project

Congrats on a great build! Your car has come a long way from where you started and looks amazing. Not trying to be critical here but is your left hood lock too tight? It seems to be pulling the hood down at the front and distorting the hood. You shouldn't need to push down on the hood to...

    Front Suspension Springs and Shocks

How did you cut your springs? The safe way is with a cutoff wheel since it doesn't overheat the steel. Using a torch can overheat the steel and affect its strength.

1973 Convertible Project: Undercoating Decision Time

Check the reviews on those interior panels. All I've read has been they do not fit well and are not made well. It might be well worth your time to try and find some nice original ones and dye them to match your interior.

So I Did Something Kinda Dumb...

The driver side manifold is the hard one to find. It is notched to clear the oil filter. For the passenger side you could use a 351C 4V manifold.

    Vinnie’s garage

Yep, I've been along the strand, taken in the sights, and sampled many of the good restaurants. I guess I'll venture into Rotterdam and check out the historic sights and a few breweries. Any preferences or recommendations on breweries or brew pubs?

    1973 Mach 1 Project

You may want to check your oil pressure sending unit to make sure it's not the source of the oil leak. Your head gaskets should still be okay if they were when it was parked. For the rust, you can use a wire wheel to brush off the rust but you may want to get some Evaporust, or similar, and...

    Vinnie’s garage

Great job maximizing your vertical space! BTW, I'll be in Den Hage, The Netherlands for a week starting 21 Sep. Any recommendations on things to do? Any car events in the area?

windscreen wiper blades repositioning, are they easy to adjust?

This walks you through the process of cleaning the wiper motor's park switch.

windscreen wiper blades repositioning, are they easy to adjust?

No. If you look in the part of the wiper arm that fits over what you have in the picture you will see that it has several degrees of adjustment. Try reinstalling the wiper arm in a lower position. If this doesn't place the arms low enough the park function of your wiper motor may have failed.

You're out of my area of expertise. I'm just going to follow along here and learn.

windscreen wiper blades repositioning, are they easy to adjust?

They're adjustable where they fit on the shafts. Pull them off and adjust their positions as described in the manual.

    1972 Convertible resto mod

Since I don't build to concours standards anymore, I just go with black. A little truck bed liner to dampen stones thrown off the tires, it desired. Looks good and easy to touch up when needed.
