Good luck! If you still can’t locate the holes. I can remove my dome light and try and show you what to look for.

    Missing Dome Light

Steve I have a sports roof but , I believe the dome light lines up with the front seats ( see picture). If you press gently there should be a raised flat spot where the wire for the light is. It is a mounting point for the Donnie light. Mine was on the passenger side of the light towards the...

Digital Dash and new wiring harness question

You are correct if there is a voltage difference from battery to dash there is an issue. Doesn’t matter on the type of alternator. The factory style alternators all use a voltage sensing to turn on the alternator, they either have an external or internal voltage regulator. The advantage of the...

Digital Dash and new wiring harness question

The one wire alternator should start charging once the rpm’s are above a set level. The alternator should produce 13-14 volts at this point, no sensing wire needed. I am sure the 3G is a great alternative. I think the one wire with 150 amps is a nice alternative and less wiring. If you have...

    Intermittent electrical issue

Some updates, on my electrical issues. I have changed out the oem style starter and went with a high torque starter with a solenoid on the starter. Added a positive bus bar (red box) to make hooking power up easier. Went with 2 gauge wire for the starter and ground. New dry cell optima red top...

    Intermittent electrical issue

I also forgot to say thank you Steve, the prints help a lot! I also did the exact thing you said to do. I pulled the c-211 apart and spread the male connector out to make better contact. I then did a continuity test from the battery to all exposed 37 points (head light sw, ignition sw, c-211 and...

    Intermittent electrical issue

Sorry for not updating, found the issue. The new starter is shorted to ground. It is causing the voltage to go to zero. That with an ignition switch not align right caused this issue. I am replacing the oem style starter with a high torque low amp starter. I am also going to rewire the fuse box...

    My 1973 project daily driver

Yes, hesitation is gone. I tried everything with the other carb, the brawler is a 650 double pumper mechanical secondaries. The Street demon was a 750, with mechanical secondaries.

    Intermittent electrical issue

The gremlins struck again. After a month of no issues, the loss of all power came back. As I am wanting this car to be a daily driver , I can’t have theses issue keep coming up. I have to face the facts that I am dealing with 50 year old plastic, wire and technology. Time to upgrade! If anyone...

    Hydraulic Roller

I was giving you suggestions, as of right now parts are hard to find for our engines. Speed master is based out of the USA and Australia. They do import parts as do a lot of other speed shop. I am just happy that they are making part for our Cleveland engines as they are a short run of an...

    Hydraulic Roller

Speed master has roller cams in stock, depending on how large of a cam you want. You can find them direct or go through Jegs or summit.

    Carb Replacement

The Demon is not a direct fit. You will need a spacer or modify the egr plate as they need more room for the throttle blades under the carb. I have also had poor quality with my demon, missing c clip on the accelerator pump, screws not all the way in. Last is performance, I have fought a...

    Intermittent electrical issue

Thank you for the kind words. I hope is helps others as well. I know it is sometimes hard to find information on things like fuseable links and 90% of the time it is working or it is blown. Rarely is it broken with intermittent contact.
