As much as I've enjoyed my Mustang over the past 20 years it's time to move on unfortunately as it's been totaled. The car is up for auction here for anyone who may want to pursue a good car with lots of usable parts or pos to restore, likely someone with lots of time, connections and resources...

Thanks for sharing this story, good rant lol. Of course no real accountability as this driver was able to drive away. Looks like a beautiful car. I also had a 2017 GT for a time that was a great car. They've told me that this won't affect my rates as it wasn't my fault but I'm not sold on that.

Wow, that's a horrific story and so sad. Drugs are a huge problem too. Being overly lenient on criminals doesn't work, totally agree. Dogs are awesome, they try hard to please, are never in a bad mood and always glad to see you.

Yes these actions were criminal and no real accountability at all. No insurance and likely has no assets, etc. Should definitely not be on the road and should have been jailed but wasn't. Doesn't give 2 ***** about the laws or anyone else. Pisses me off big time too!

Ron, thanks for your comments. It seems there are lots of idiots out there being enabled by lax enforcement. I guess they can't prevent someone from using other tags though. Too many distracted drivers these days not paying attention also.
