    You might also check the tension on the socket contact fingers against the printed circuit and bend or replace them as needed.

    Not sure about the dim LEDs. Is the headlight knob full clockwise? Try rotating the LEDs that do not light 180 degrees. They are polarity sensitive.

    You might consider replacing the bulbs with LEDs while you have the inst. cluster out. I left the bulbs in the turn signal indicators to keep the stock flashers happy.

    70 has a hydaulic ram attached to the drag link. This usually interferes with headers. 73 does not have this.

    70 ps is totally different from 71 ps. You need to further clarify the fitment on the 71-73.

    Your motor looks great. I had to use a HD 1/2” drill to prime my motor. I also had 80psi cold with the std oil pump. The oil pressure dropped to 40psi at idle, when the motor warmed up.

    Very strange, the ADDCO square "U" bolt bracket seems like a much better approach.

    I prefer the OEM bar, but you will have to cobble up the bushing mounting hardware. I believe the ADDCO kit comes with all needed brackets. In any case, be sure to mount the rear bar before you do any intended exhaust modifications. It is VERY busy back there.

    I believe the Sprint Mustangs had the pinstripe tape to separate the body and lower accent color and no hockey puck stripes.
