There are no pressure pads there is a switch built into the seatbelt retractors. And the buzzer and light only go on if you put it in drive without your seat belt pulled out.

I saw there was no date code but forgot about Autolite being used until 72.

It’s probably a later replacement and not an assembly line part.

I’m not sure about 71/73 Mustangs but 70-71 Torinos with blacked out hoods had textured black paint so it might be correct. But you are right it’s hard to take care of.

Found the defective area. The tank is not seated in this flange all the way in the section where it leaks. These copper brass rads aren’t cheap. I will say it worked very well, the car ran right at -185-190 degrees all day and could sit and idle as long as I wanted.

I have to say I’m leaning towards grabber blue myself or the shade of green on this door I had painted to see the color but with black stripes.

That’s the problem, that’s not even taking in account the extra needed for the edges. There was only two of these in the box.

Who and where are you all buying your strip kits from. The kit from Decal magic which be the same people as mustang market but not sure. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyway their lower strip kit is too short to do the whole lower part of the car. Only reaches from the front fender to about half in front of the rear...

I used Edelbrock hydraulic roller heads complete out of the box at 1200 each and a matching air gap with a cam from Lykins in my 410 and it’s a middle of the road street set up it made 527HP and 525TQ.

The front A pillar pieces seem to be thicker and seem to be holding up. And they fit pretty good.
