    It's baaaaccckkkkk!

To the defense of whomever modified the Boss, doing that to a complete, still stock Boss would be questionable. But, unless they have pics of the car before, who can say what condition that car was in before or when. It could have been a thrashed and rusted car missing parts. And if it was long...

Parts For Sale Fastback Windshield Trim

Since a couple members have been asking about windshield trim, I thought I would bump these. Still have them. I cleaned almost all the sealer off. Newer pics will come later today.

    Leaf springs shackles

On a couple of cars a friend had, we installed taller shackles with polyurethane bushings. The thought was that longer shackles would work the rubber bushings more and have a little more movement side to side. So, longer shackle with poly bushings equals a little less compliance and movement...

    Front Suspension drop

I never ran wheels that wide. Mine were 15x7 slots on my 70 fastback. Probably had a standard-ish backspace of 3 3/4" to 4 1/4". Full width of wheel was probably 8". I think I had 235/60/15 tires, so no issues with fenderwell clearance. The slots I had used the shank type lugs that reach down...

    Front Suspension drop

Ah, yep, I know what you mean. I always heard that referred to as a deep dish wheel. An aluminum slot of standard width and stockish backspacing were still called dished wheels, as I recall.

Why are dished wheels a 'no-no'?

Parts Wanted Looking For 71-73 Mustang Avocado Green Interior Parts

Your seat hingecovers are pretty much what I recall my interior was back in 89. All the avocado parts, including the seats had a strong color to them like those covers.

Learning as I go - Mystery components - what are they?

Back in the day I never messed with the fuel lines...I knew the fuel line came into the engine bay but either forgot or never knew it then went back out thru the shock tower.

Pic of fuel line coming up from chassis rail and disappearing thru rear fender apron:

    Waking up a 6

Yep. I like the idea of the 2bbl Australian 250 (4.1). Or the later crossflow 250. There were some people importing the older Australian 250s for their Broncos. Or if you REALLY want to wake up a 6....the later FI turbo Barra.

Learning as I go - Mystery components - what are they?

That hose with the filter stuck in it looks like it goes down to the fuel line. The fuel line comes up along the frame rail, into the wheel well and pops thru the fender apron. Which begs two questions...does the car run? If it does, track the fuel line from the carb to the pump (lower drivers...

71 Grande on FB: 351C 4V and Manual trans?

No details on if it's an M or Q code. Might be just a 351 4v air cleaner lid, but the manual trans might be a clue. Of course, it could be a 3spd.

    Marker lights on a 73.

I don't know if the valance is different, but the 73 bumper goes down much farther than the 72, so it seems the bumper covers the lights.
