    Turn signal switch installation 1973

I just did this recently as well on a 71 though. I was a bit worried about what I was getting into and it turned out to be no big deal. I thought I was going to have to cut wires and/or disassemble the plugs. None of that. It was all plug and play. I didn't even have to use a string to pull...

    Signal lights flashing very fast

Thanks guys. No LED that I know of. Fairly certain of that but this is a new car to me. I looked for a flasher under the glove box but didn't find anything there of note. I will look again. I changed the flasher under the steering column. Heavy duty flasher may be a good bet. Hazards...

    Signal lights flashing very fast

Thanks Jeff. Not LED. New flasher unit installed. Old flasher had the same results. So maybe replacing all the bulbs will help. Cool. We'll see soon enough. Thanks again

    Signal lights flashing very fast

Hey guys. I couldn't find a thread on this so maybe you could point me in the right direction. I just replaced the flasher unit with a new one along with a brand new turn signal switch. Good news is that I have lights that work now. However the flashers/signals are very fast on front and...

    Freewheeling starter?

Occasionally when the starter turns more than a few seconds (not so much now since the new fuel pump) it will quit engaging the engine and freespin with an amazingly loud whirring noise. This is my assumption of what is happening based on my limited knowledge but fairly certain. Why would...

Flexplate is showing... is this normal?

As a follow up to the previous question. Since that cover has been gone and the car driven, do I need to somehow clean that up inside there or is it fairly safe to just put the cover on and be done with it?

Flexplate is showing... is this normal?

I've noticed while replacing my fuel pump that the flex plate hangs down below the engine showing it's gear while facing into all the dirt and crap that surely must get in there. Is this a normal condition? I've got a 71 351c 4v with a C6 tranny if that helps. Thanks Eric
