Door alignment, which hinge to adjust

To be able to pivot the door where you need to you need to loosen the bolts on each hinge that bolt onto the actual door, you leave the hinge bolts that bolt to the a pillar alone. If you loosened those bolts and the door is not moving at all then the hinge is probably rusted to the door. You...

    Stall converter

With duration at anything over 230 degrees at .050 like you have on that cam card, you will need at least a 3,000 stall converter. Advertised duration is not the same as duration at .050. The previous article from B&M can be quite confusing as they mention .050 and then they talk about...

Door alignment, which hinge to adjust

You can pivot the top rear of the door out and pivot the bottom in without changing the door gap. Rather than trying to explain it here is a good video on how to adjust your door.

What did you do to your car today?

You were lucky on that one! No paint damage, you can easily replace the bumper and grill, could have been a lot worse.

New problem, engine randomly dies, no spark

That carb did come with 63 and 73 jets. It should have come with a 6.5 power valve too. Usually Holley carbs are not lean out of the box, if anything they are usually rich, but no harm in going up a couple of jet sizes in the front just to try it out. Here is the info on the carb and what came...

    Is this hinge ruined?

If the hinge holes are oval, then the correct way is to weld and drill them back out to size, but I have seen people just put JB Weld on the bushing hole when they are just a bit off and it seems to have worked fine.
