Changing out brake lines for Stainless

Just a thought:  Consider changing the flex line between the rear differential and the body. On my car it was obviously spongy and made a great difference when I changed it, also during the process of going to 4 wheel disc.  I hope that helps you.  Ed Raver

    Rocker arms

Rest assured that the  69 and 70 Boss 302's use  a 1.73 ratio rocker arm. I own a 69B2.  DO check pushrod length for sure. It is cheap and easy to do and will head off a possible disaster.

    Following my family

Keep up the good work. Feed the family good grain fed protein. We have very few whitetail here in New Mexico so we have to hunt Elk, antelope, oryx, etc. Mule deer do not taste very good but I have eaten my share. Cool pictures !   Ed

    Front side marker light bulb

A hearty +1 on the LED's. They are amazing and people can actually see your brake lights for a change. Reasonably cheap as well. Ed

    Need opinion on potential purchase

IMO if you can get it for a decent price that would be in my garage. Its almost exactly the same car that my 71 vert was when I got it but mine was a rust bucket, but I only paid $1000 . Mine was also an M-code but is now a 429. Mark has seen my car. You might also check the round passage...

NOS OEM Ford 1973 Mustang Rear Bumper Chrome Trim

Metro Plating in Mesa, AZ straightens and rechromes bumpers in the $285 range. Nice work too. They also starightened my 69 front bumper that FedEx tried to destroy. Good Folks,    Ed Raver

    Accident

That is just too nice a car to total it. As bad as it looks it can still be repaired. The new whole front clip might make sense here. As stated above, be sure the shop has the right tools and experience. Here in NM we see too many deals where a shop will take a down payment, then nothing...

    Hard to find bits

I have a set of 4 originals but I cannot remember if the 73's are different from the 71-72's. What is the part number on the one that you have? If it is a D1__ prefix I have a set of four that I'll sell for $15.00 plus shipping. Lets hope !! Ed Raver

Noob with a '72 Fastback and no trans

73 PONY is correct on this. Pull the dash and the pedal support to have the bearings installed for the clutch.   You will really regret it if you don't. On the other hand you will be a qualified contortionist if you don't.   Ed in New Mexico. Welcome !! Enjoy the ride.
