    Engine is DS top back of block. You'll need one of those mirrors that collapse and swivels to see it.

    Strange loss of coolant

    Didn't see it on mine because it was being superheated from under. Only thing that would have given me a warning would have been an oil temperature gauge that I didn't have. The temp outside the water jacket temps was what killed my engine. Flashing steam is extremely hot.

    If you pressure test you should let it sit overnight. If pressure holds. you may have what is termed a "zipper crack" in a cylinder.     You may want to check your side marker lights for loosness. I know how crazy a noise you can't find can make you.

    They are slotted where the de'arsenvol movement (spring) is. I have a spare needle if you mess up.

    This is why I'm not a big fan of electrical sending units. You need to be sure the range matches the gauge. (something they typically don't tell you when you buy)

    I guess this is really rare to find a 72 dash with the seat belt light in a 71 that was built in 70.
