You might try swapping to the 2v Heads, I had a 72 Mach 1 351C 4V with Boss Cam, headers, 600CFM Holley, and it ran much better around town and more low end torque with the 2v heads.  I had both sets so experimented and ended up taking off the 4v's and selling them.
