Rear End Pinion Seal Extraction Issues

That’s not a bad idea would have been a lot easier than what I did.....So here’s what I did. I unbolted the 5 bolts to the pinion. And just removed the casing; took a clean flat head and wedged it between the bearing and that seal. Gave it a few taps and out she came :) replaced it with what...

Rear End Pinion Seal Extraction Issues

Hi guys, So here i am trying to replace the rear end seal since it was leaking and i thought ohh... this is going to be an easy repair. I followed the typical mark ups to align everything back to normal the simple stuff... now everywhere I've seen here on "how- to extract" it is fairly straight...

    Transmission cooling line_Fittings

Spent the weekend putting the entire drive-train back together and came to a halt. I was trying to replace the cooling lines and fitting just spun the damn line and tore it up. (Yes i used the special hex tool and still...) The whole brass fitting and the threaded coupling male from the lines...

    73 Mach 1 351c Hello from Sweden

normally i we always see the fastbacks with the mach1 grill and fog lights..... this is the first time I've ever seen it without that. I low key like the black silhouette around the pony with no chrome molding. :classic_ohmy:   @Robsweden great job on the unique touch. really stands out.  :thumb:

1972 mach 1 floor pan holes

If you haven't already sealed them... grab yourself a 360 spray nozzle and generously spray some etching primer, rust inhibitor, and rubber coating, just layer up that bad boy so any moisture that collects will just bead up and find its way out. Rather than it just causing more headaches/double...

    Possible Frame Damage?

man.... why didn't i think of that's just genius. As an update i was able to get the engine back in. the reason why i was having such difficulty was another obvious reason; The driveways incline.. so this quick method was solved by jacking up the rear of the car high enough to match the plane...

    Possible Frame Damage?

The entire drive-line was pulled out when this was being worked on.  Yes, i was just trying to mate the two and was noticing that one side mated smooth no problem but the passenger side on the other hand was PITA. even with the ability to tilt that sucker was just driving me nuts. Experience to...

    Possible Frame Damage?

Hey Fam, I was putting the engine back in this weekend and was taking a look at the motor mounts staged in place and something caught my eye. If you follow the center-line eye holes of the motor mounts the're offset by almost a 1/2 inch and the drivers side is almost on top of the tie rods...
