I could not use the ram air air cleaner. Took a std air cleaner, but the lid from my Ram air air cleaner. The Std lid did not fit under the hood. I have an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Was still very tight under the hood.

Is quite right that the tool is intended to be used in case of a ball joint replacement. But I use it always because it destroys the upper shock absorbers rubber. Maybe it's because I have the harder 429 coil springs. (They are really hard!) But do not think that's healthy for 351 c springs...

How many of you here on the forum use this tool. To avoid damage to the shock absorber and lower controllarms bushings when to hoist up your Mustang?
