Partinig out 1972 H code 3 speed Vert one of 82 built.

David, I need the transition panel at the front of the trunk opening to the convertible well opening. The flat panel immediately in front of the trunk lid when closed, mine is rusted thru although my car doesn't have much rust elsewhere. Thanks, Curtis Sent from my hammer and chisel using...

    Windshield header buzz....

Get some of the 2" wide blue painters tape. Try taping different areas of the windshield and header area until you figure it out. I'd suggest first taping down the upper bright trim along the top horizontal edge of the windshield and then go for a drive to see if you still hear it. Try the side...

    Stupid!

Could be corrosive build up in the battery cables at the terminal connections. They'll conduct voltage but as soon as you try to pass amps, they fail.

    Interesting

Not bad, nor not a bad price if the car is rust free. Looks too much like 71 fastback, not 73 Mach I for my taste. Sent from my LG-H918 using Tapatalk

    $300,000 Mach 1 on Hemmings

Also says it has black leather interior. No way that is factory. Being in Houston, our air is very humid and slightly salty being 50 miles from the gulf, so we do get rust. Haven't seen this car in person, but my guess would be about $80k Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk

Have two questions I am unsure of???

The 2 bbl and 4 bbl air cleaner mounting flange (top of the carburetor) opening are the same. That is a 302 specific air cleaner housing. The 351C was larger and the top flatter as I recall (I haven't seen mine in a while, going from memory) The radio shown is AM only, they also had am/fm...

1973 Convertible purchased at Barret Jackson

Why is the dash cluster lens so foggy ? Surely they could have paid attention to some of the finer details for that price. I sense someone over paid at auction and is now experiencing buyers remorse and trying to recoup their money.

    Engine Surging, Tach Bounce

What's your base timing? Timing with full mechanical advance? Timing with full vacuum advance? What it your vacuum reading when trying to hold that speed ? What RPM are you seeing at that speed ? Could be mechanical springs too light and then vacuum low at that speed. Also what vacuum source...
