    What type of valve spring oil seals did you use? I've had poor luck with the white Teflon type not lasting but a few hundred miles before they started leaking oil past the guides. Installed some positive stop type Viton seals and the oil burning problem went away.

    MSD Tach Help

    Why is everyone concerned with the tach adapter? It is not needed if the pickup to the tachometer is from the pertronix itself. I use this method all the time and even used it to trigger my FiTech EFI system.

    Just leave the factory tachometer trigger wire T'd into the MSD box trigger wire(white) and the (black) wire from the Pertronix. Do not use the tach output (gray)from the MSD box.

    D1AE-GA quench heads. Pretty much the bread and butter 4v quench head. Looks to have been converted to run 7/16" rocker studs with guideplates. Cant tell if they are set up for 5/16" or 3/8" pushrods.

    Spent yesterday fiberglassing back together my cracked a-piller covers. I so wish I could have found some to purchase. They wont look too bad once painted. They will be functional but I can still see the cracks.
