Don from what I found on vintage plates at http://alisondb.legislature.state.al.us/acas/CodeOfAlabama/1975/40-12-297.htm it doesn't state that I can see that the vintage plates only be used for shows. I'm getting a 71 hopefully for my birthday. :-)
