Door panels are done and ready to go in and 1 inner trim panel completed and test fitted. Plan on installing rear glass today and bolt the completed rear panel in. I’ll be taking a break until February due to travel, seat cover lead time and the lack of passenger side rear trim panel.

Finished the one correct inner trim panel that I have. Still looking for another one.

Does anyone have a 71 passenger side inner quarter panel for a fastback? Color isn’t that important but it needs to be a 71 without the seatbelt hole. Picture below shows the drivers side part for reference.

Moving right along with the installation of the rear inner panels along with the sail panels. I did have to modify my sail panels due to the rear window defrost. Installation was fairly simple as long as I took my time. I’ve got to wait a few days for the weatherstrip adhesive to arrive so...

Well I followed the SEM process and am extremely pleased with the results so far. Coverage and adhesion is awesome and all the colors match. Painted everything above the belt line so far and will take care of the inner quarters and fold down seat pieces over the next couple days.

Sounds good to me as I’m about 25 minutes away up in Milford. Was able to get the headliner and many upper interior pieces back in today. Tackling the rear inner quarters and fold down seat panels in the next couple days.

It doesn’t suck

I hate the booster on my 71 429 equipped CJ rebuilt by booster Dewey earlier this year and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Can anyone tell me what the difference between the vertical 1/4 Window weatherstripping would be between the coupe and convertible.

I pulled out my existing headliner yesterday and it looks like different holes were used on each bow probably to get the wrinkles out of the headliner so I’m guessing each installation is different. With all the 71-73’s in the Detroit area I think we need to have a meet up!

I know many people have ordered fabric and had TMI stitch the seats but has anyone actually had SMS sew the covers and if so could you share your experience. Did a search and couldn’t find anything on this topic.

I have the interior out of my fold down car right now and could take pictures for you if you tell me which ones you’d like.

That’s what I’m afraid of. Trying to figure out the best surface prep to ensure proper adhesion is key.

Would anyone have NOS pieces of either/both of the rear inner aprons of the engine compartment. Would prefer this to the reproduction parts if possible, Thanks!
