    Many of the power brake conversion kits, (very good one), do just that. Relocate the push-rod location on the original manual brake pedal. nothing wrong with that, if you know how to use a drill, it saves you a good bit of money as well.

    gravity bleed the whole system. put it up on blocks & let the suspension go to full droop, (wheels off, obviously). start w/ RR, then LR, then RF, then LF. whatever you do, do NOT let the reservoir go empty during the process or you'll have to start all over. . . .may take 1-1/2 to 2 quarts.

    have you relocated the connection point on the brake pedal? if not, that is why your boosted brakes are so easy. manual brakes should have a 6-to-1 pedal ratio, power brakes should be 4-to-1.

    I have recently acquired a weathered '71 Mach1 w/ 351, manual drum brakes. The MC & wheel cylinders have all leaked out. I want to pull the brake pedal bracket & have removed everything at the firewall, but am unclear as to what-all needs disconnected at the dash end. please help.
