That's why I asked what others wheelbase measurements actually are. I know it effects alignment when changed and I have the car going in for an alignment next week so I want to have the wheelbase set before I go have that done. After replacing the lower control arms and the strut rod bushings I measured out the wheelbase on my car and it seems to want to be at 109.5" on both sides, I have adjusted the strut rods to bring it to 109" but I am just curious as to others actual measurements. Does the .5" really matter or...

I have no idea what motor mounts are in mine. They were in there when I bought the car. Mine valve covers are out from the booster the length of the stud + 1/4". My issue was with the master cylinder not the booster.

I had replaced the booster with a new one and it had a rounded end, actually like a cap nut on the end. I had no problems but that's good info.

The driven gear was not engaging with the drive gear in the tranny. I ordered the "blue" 16 tooth gear seen here: http://www.transmissioncenter.org/Ford_Speedometer_Gears.htm and the speedo works, however, it is off by about 10 mph and the calculators I have found say I need a 17 or 19 tooth...

Try spraying some carb/choke cleaner on the vacuum lines and around the base of the carb. RPM will climb if you have a leak somewhere.

I have heard/read that the 99-04 Mustang seats work in our cars. I am in MN looking for a set myself. BTW Colbalt/G5 seats do not fit.

Power wash/degrease the mess and get a new can of brake clean. New hardware kit is always a good idea. While you are under there check rubber hose going into the distribution block. They are not readily available as I have found out. You may also want to check the vent tube for the rear axle...

O'Reilly didn't have the correct one. Mine is from CJ Pony Parts. Cable, gear and O ring seal.

Can it be put in incorrectly? I guess I assumed it would only go in one way and the gears would have to be lined up for it to go in. Well that would be par for the course so far. Can the bends in the cable be causing the cable to pull out of the gear or the head? If I pull the cable on the gear...

I picked up a new speedo cable and gear. C6 tranny. I can spin the gear by hand and the needle on the speedo moves but when I install it I get nothing. Is the bend going into the tranny too tight? What am I missing? Does the inner cable need to be trimmed or something?
