    Thanks. I had removed the securing clamp. Battery was dead and I tried to jump it but just saw the red cable and assumed negative without looking at the battery. Cranked feebly a few times and then everything went dead so probably blew a fuse. Rookie mistake, I know.

    Finally bought one

    Greetings from Los Angeles - good story and nice looking ride. It seems like the original exterior color was either Medium Blue Poly or Grabber Blue - are you going to keep it white?

    Wasn't sure if I qualified as an original owner or not. My father purchased the car directly from Ford. It was driven as a company car for 7-8 months before my father bought it. He then gifted it over to me in 2012. The window sticker says: SOLD TO: FORD MOTOR COMPANY RM492-17101 ROTUNDA...
