    Sway bars I never tighten mounting bolts while unsprung or with wheels jacked up. I do the final tightening under full weight to avoid binding and squeaking.

    Interesting.........appears 4V also had the "B" baffle. I wonder some of those on eBay listed as BOSS 351 with a hefty cost might just be a std 4V pan. Good to know. I have hunch my 2V 351 will not have the "B" plate so I will run a bolt-on windage tray with 6 quarts.

    THX......I have to wonder how important the extra baffle is if wanting to run 6 quarts of oil? Wouldn't a windage tray that bolts onto the lower block just below the crankshaft serve the same purpose? Or is there something unique and superior to the BOSS/HO baffle that would be worth trying...

    73 vert BOSS 351 build

    Added spoilers and traction bars over the weekend got the hood stick issue on one end fixed. Work on front suspension BOSS equal upgrade this week plus overall front/back lowering while maintaining the stance I have.

    So opinions seem to vary on a.031" head shave. Some say shim the rockers .031" Some say shorten the push rod length .031" or go to adjustable type. Others say insignificant amount to be concerned with do nothing. Anyone want to add their 2 cents?

    73 vert BOSS 351 build

    Got rear under carriage and trunk finished....Keystone wheels and tires arrived to check stance and it is setting 1-2 inches high front and back need to lower next to get the stance I want. Going with BOSS 351 black stripes hood etc... theme with the white vet top.
