Does anyone know the material specification (AMS or ASTM) Ford used for manufacturing trunk lid torsion bars? I had a set made for my 1972 fastback with sport deck using ASTM A853-19 steel and they are not strong enough. BTW the aftermarket bars that were available several years ago are 0.200"...

Were you able to figure out how to use a power brake booster?  I built a similar car, also with the Kasse engine.  I bought a 1969 Boss 429 booster but could not seem to find room for it.  

Does anyone know the diameter of the 1972 trunk lid torsion rods for a vehicle with a rear spoiler?  Is there any procedure for installing them correctly to keep the trunk lid open?
