If you run a fuel pump (low pressure carb or EFI). One of the safe things to do is to install an inertia switch and while it may sound strange on this thread, the little guy can be used like kill switch for the fuel. A hidden line lock could do the same, making it even harder to load the car on...

Aside the basic circuit, if you have replaced the brake booster, keep in mind not every rod is equal. I had a problem (no brake lights) after replacing mine and fixed the problem as on the pict; I bet the same can occur if you've only replaced the switch...

Just make sure it's not coming from mac antics. I got their "usa made super high quality" repop of the 429 shroud. The thing which they even dared to put a sticker of quality control on it, is a miserable POS! terrible quality.
