    Hi Andy - the adapter is 0.85" tall - so it does increase the height..... we were a little worried, but i don't have the ram air and it fit fine. I would expect it would push the envelope with that add-on since it  the ram air foam seal has to fit well around the air cleaner.

I about went nuts looking, but FINALLY found an adapter for that one-off 73 spreadbore that would allow me to keep the factory manifold and bolt on a squarebore carb. Trans-Dapt 2199 adapter dropped right on the factory manifold and EGR plate...
