The Edelbrock and Carter cabs a just about bullet proof . There are some good posts here . Fuel pump seemed to ring a bell with me . Just for fun check out your fuel cap. if it is a replacement cap it needs to be vented. Good luck and don't give up. you will find a solution.

Hey , how bout using the inside headlights on the cougar for thunder bolt style ram air to the intake ? it will look better than the stock air box for sure. Cool build . Keep me posted on tuning it . Joe Stang

i had to pull the 351c. The cam went flat on a lobe and pumped metal throughout the motor. She will need new cam, main and rod bearings . And then re-balance too. Its total my fault. I ran stout solid lifter springs with a milder hyd cam . I knew better. On the upside I found a neat NOS Crane...
